Mark is an independent artist practicing at his studio in Austin, Texas. He is an accomplished oil painter, water colorist, and draughtsman. Mark began his career studying the artistic insights and techniques of Old Masters and 19th century painters. Through years of self-study and technique experimentation, he has developed versatile technical abilities, assimilating the innovations of prominent artists from the Baroque period through the 19th century. His style is influenced mainly by Italian and French Old Masters, and he has traveled to Italy to research the works of these artists to infuse them into his own repertoire. Through his dedication to studying and mastering the traditional techniques, Mark's goal is to promote the artistry of the Old Masters.
